The Salvation Army Offers after school programming for children from kindergarten to fifth grade called STARS (Students TogetherAchieving Remarkable Success). A caring staff will care for your kids, help them with homework, teach them character values, and ensure the environment they are in is safe and wholesome. The STARS program offers:

- educational activities

Our goals are to:

  • reduce the number of students in our community who have no supervision after school
  • increase the number of students in our community who are completing homework assignments from school
  • increase the level of basic student skills (including computer proficiency)
  • provide character development and positive role modeling
  • engender a positive attitude towards school, our community, and life
